Quinta is the name of the Portuguese winery from which the port barrels in which this Glenmorangie is matured originate. Ruban is the Gaelic word for ruby and refers to the ruby red colour that is given to the whisky by this post-maturing process.
After a 10 year aging in former Bourbon barrels, he spends another four years in former port wine barrels.
